Local Community Groups

Coldwell Banker Best Homes supports many local organizations: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Homes for Dogs Project, Center Valley Animal Rescue, Backpacks for Kids, Port Townsend Main Street, Key City Theater, the Tri-Area Food Bank, The Jumping Mouse, The Free Little Pantry, the Port Townsend Film Festival, YMCA and many more. Making a difference is more than just real estate and a career. It's a committment to service.

Center Valley Animal Rescue is committed to providing safe harbor and rehabilitation for unwanted, injured or abandoned domesticated and wild animals, by finding loving homes for all adoptable animals in their care.

The Tri-Area Food Bank is part of an association that serves Jefferson County, the Tri-Area and Port Townsend—and assists in providing food to the Hoh and Queet Reservation Bank Association. An all-volunteer organization.

The Port Townsend Film Festival began screening independent films in 1999. Today, PTFF has expanded to eight theaters. They screen over 90 films, mid-September, in the walkable downtown National Historic District.

Centrum is a gathering place for artists and creative thinkers. Centrum's location at Fort Worden—a turn-of-the-century army base in Port Townsend—offers an unmatched combination of natural beauty and historic interest.
